Directly from our wonderful apartments you can reach the skiing area of Zauchensee on one side and the skiing area of Kleinarl on the other side! Both resorts are well known within the Salzburg Sportwelt Ski Amadé for their excellent groomed slopes.

If you want to explore an even greater variety of lifts and slopes during your skiing vacation in the beautiful province of Salzburg, the entire Salzburg Sportwelt Ski Amadé is open to you with the ski pass from Flachauwinkl. Flachauwinkl is the optimal access to the numerous slopes of the Salzburg Sportwelt Ski Amadé. An hourly bus takes you to Flachau and from there to all other ski resorts of the Salzburg Sportwelt Ski Amadé. With an incredible 865 kilometers of slopes and 276 lifts at the latest technical level, Salzburg’s Sportwelt Ski Amadé leaves nothing to be desired for a brilliant day of skiing.

Absolutely Park – absolutely unique!

The Absolut Park with 1.5 km length one of the largest terrain parks in Europe and now established in the international scene!

The park is top styled and provides hard runs and smooth lines with four different sections that can all be ridden perfectly in one line: Kickerline, Railcombo, Halfpipe & Jibline.

Absolutely unique is the Chill House next to the Jibpark.
It houses, in addition to the first skate miniramp on the mountain, strong walls
for bouldering, a relaxation area, flat screens and a
practical service & depot room.

The region Flachau / Flachauwinkl belongs to the most beautiful
cross-country skiing regions in Salzburg, if not in all of Austria.

Nordic skiing is at home with us and we live and love
everything related to cross-country skiing. Flachau / Flachauwinkl is for cross-country skiing enthusiasts the ideal starting point for an almost unlimited cross-country skiing pleasure. 160 kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails of one of the largest and most beautiful cross-country skiing areas in Salzburg Land are waiting for you and know how to convince.

Tobogganing

A winter vacation with us in Flachau in the beautiful SalzburgerLand absolutely includes a hearty toboggan ride.

Directly from the house you can take an approx. 1-hour walk to the Winklalm. The hut is located at about 1,600 m above sea level and
is the perfect place to stop off for a break before the fast-paced
Descent with the toboggans on.

You can get toboggans for your descent directly at the hut. In the evening the track is illuminated and tobogganing is a very special experience.

The cold season promises pure romance for everyone in Flachau,
who once off the slopes and cross-country ski trails the winter in the beautiful
Salzburg Land want to experience. You can enjoy the wintry dream landscape in the middle of the Salzburg Sportwelt Ski Amadé comfortably on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride through the beautiful valley between Flachau and Flachauwinkl.

Wrapped in warming blankets, you will ride through the deep snow-covered winter forest. Quietly the sled glides through the snowy valley of Flachau / Flachauwinkl. The ride on horse-drawn sleighs with snorting steeds creates a very special atmosphere, a feeling of endless time.

If that is still not enough, we recommend the following activities:

  • Every Thursday evening, the legendary hut evening is celebrated at the Winklalm with live music and then chased down the 4 km long toboggan run.
  • Also starts with us in Flachauwinkl the perfectly groomed 50 kilometer long Tauern cross-country ski trail.
  • For the romantics among you, we recommend a leisurely carriage ride through our beautifully snow-covered winter landscape. We will be happy to organize this for you.
  • To relax your muscles again, the Therme Amade in Altenmarkt (15 minutes by car), with warm outdoor pool and grandiose infusions in the magnificent sauna landscape, invites you.
